Hi Gang! I can speak from experience about PCOD, as I have suffered from this for about 21 years now (am 43 now). I suffered from lack of menses, hormonal extremes, weight gain, fugues, loss of memory, hair growth and loss, diabetes, early menopause, seizures and a multitude of other problems. The first part of a successful program must include understanding. Most women suffering from this feel confused and like they are losing their minds. I won’t even begin to tell you about the doctors’ “treatment” for this and it’s side effects! I could no longer drive or go anywhere alone because of the fugues (blackouts).

After using a basic feel better program for 6 months, my menses returned, much to my surprise, and most of my hair grew back. I no longer felt confused and could discontinue the hormone pills and shots. (Remember, mine was 21 years ago and they treated it differently then.) This was all a wonderful bonus for me because I was using the GNLD products to help with my arthritis and had given up all hope of ever having a normal hormone level in my body. My levels are now normal and with the GR2 I am able to control my diabetes and lose the weight. I would add A’s and feminine herbal complex to the program below and cut out all sugars and most meats as well as over processed foods. I feel that the hormones and other ‘additives’ to meats have an adverse effect. I can really feel the difference if I consume processed foods and meats.
Hope this helps!

Hi Charlotte,
Polycystic Ovarian Disease (PCOD) affects a small number of women (about 6%) and is one of the leading causes of infertility for women. It is characterized by an irregular or absent menses, high blood pressure, acne, diabetic issues, excess facial and body hair, weight problems and, usually, multiple cysts (egg follicles that have matured but never released from the ovary) on the ovaries. There is no known cause for PCOD.
We’ve never had any experience with PCOD – that we know of. Some women can have this and never be diagnosed or even know they have it. However, we have worked with women who have had many of the above symptoms, especially irregular and absent menstrual cycles and difficulty getting pregnant. The following program has help these women and we would imagine it could have a positive effect on PCOD as well. Mind you, we’re not saying we’re curing the problem, but a healthy diet, exercise and a good GNLD supplement program certainly can help the body take care of itself!Have her start off with a Stress Pack, GR2 protein, Salmon Oil and Carotenoids. This alone would make a world of difference for her. If she is interested in more, then some extra Super B, C and Vitamin E would be a good idea too. And, if she wanted to cover all of her bases, a month on the Garlic Allium and Acidophilus would be a good idea too.

She should begin to notice a difference in her energy levels within a week or two (certainly within a month). As time progresses, and she faithfully takes her products, she should begin to notice other health improvements. Coach her to be patient – she didn’t get into this situation overnight.
