Alzheimers Research And the Study of Vegetables Diet

A team from Harvard Medical School did an investigation on Alzheimer’s and the diet.  There were 13,000 participants age seventy and older included in the Alzheimer’s study.  They found that the women who reported eating the greatest amount of green leafy vegetables (spinach, kale, romaine lettuce) and cruciferous vegetables (broccoli, cabbage, brussel sprouts, cauliflower) experienced a slower rate of cognitive decline than women who said they eat the smallest amount of these vegetables.
